Reflection & clay - rumi

Reflection in the mirror is object defined,
Do u knw why the mirror never lies,
Becoz keeping a clean face is its prize.
We pray many times for loss and demise,
With grace wont hear infinite wise.
If ulook towards he earth for ur wage,
Ur the bird i.etrapped inside a cage.
I envy dirt and dust, the price ipay,
Iwish i'd never risen from clay,
Like clay with seeds i'd rather play.
This journey my soul has tested and tried,
What gains this journey brought to my side,
He desires to retiurn to the clay,
He who sees no benefits coming his way,
To turn back is nothing but his greed,
To go forth can only stem from his need,
Each plant i.e seeking to reach its height,
Increase, vitality , growth its right,
Whenever it turns around towards the earth,
Will face draught, disease and even death.

Theres always HIM, the ONLY listener!

All night, a man called “God”
Until his lips were bleeding.
Then his Adversary said, “Hey! Mr Gullible!
... How comes you’ve been calling all night
And never once heard God say, “Here, I AM”?
You call out so earnestly and, in reply, what?
I’ll tell you what. Nothing!”

The man suddenly felt empty and abandoned.
Depressed, he threw himself on the ground
And fell into a deep sleep.
In a dream, he met an angel, who asked,
“Why are you regretting calling out to God?”

The man said, “ I called and called
But God never replied, “Here I AM.”

The Angel explained, “God has said,
“Your calling my name is My reply.
Your longing for Me is My message to you.
All your attempts to reach Me
Are in reality My attempts to reach you.
Your fear and love are a noose to catch Me.
In the silence surrounding every call of “God”
Waits a thousand replies of “Here I AM.”

All from a silent & lonely heart!

All alone, in the darkest hour of my night,
Nothing iget to see around my lonely path!
But only worries weighing me down,
And the sins heaping above my life!
All ican is supplicate to YOU,
At YOUR door crying for forgiveness from YOU!
From YOU is guidance,
From YOU is disobedience!
Am no longer capable,
Just guide me all and through!
YOU are all hope for a poor silent heart,
Looking up for forgiveness from YOU!

Of Flies and Philosophers: Wittgenstein and Philosophy

The idea that philosophy is purely descriptive, and should “leave the world as it is” falls short. It can play a more radical role.
-
“To show the fly the way out of the fly bottle ”— that, Wittgenstein once said, was the aim of his philosophy. While it is perhaps unclear whether anyone — philosopher or fly — should be flattered by this comparison, his overall point is clear enough, as Paul Horwich notes in his recent piece, “Was Wittgenstein Right?” When we get curious about philosophical problems we are drawn into puzzles by the promise of sweet enlightenment, only to find ourselves caught in frustration (and banging our heads against the same wall over and over again). What we need, Wittgenstein thinks, is liberation — liberation from the prison of pseudo-problems we have brought upon ourselves; liberation from traditional philosophy. And i believe once people start working on liberation, they'll find them at ease, and also their surrounding lot!
